Creating Beauty for the enjoyment of others.

We're a mother daughter duo from Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Jeanine founded Joy From The Heart in 2001. We started out selling handmade beaded sun-catchers in local craft fairs. After several requests for making them into bracelets, Jeanine transformed her product into beautiful jewelry.
Over the years, Jeanine channeled her creativity and began making her own beads. As she was learning to make lampwork beads, she discovered glass fusing and fell in love. She now spends her time cutting, crushing, and grinding glass in different ways to make anything and everything she can dream up.

Katie has always been in the background supporting her mother by helping at art shows throughout the midwest. She slowly began to help in making jewelry, and a few glass pieces on occasion. Now Katie has decided it’s time for more. She has taken over designing and making jewelry, and promoting our presence on the internet and social media. She is hard at work creating elegant new designs, and making product to sell both at art festivals and on etsy.

Katie has been working with her mom at the business since she was 15 years old. Over the past few years she's been apprenticing with her mom on the design and creation of unique crystal pieces. Together they make an incredible artistic team.
